Harvesting Tips
For a smooth pulse crop harvest, timing is everything—wait until most pods are mature and dry, but don’t delay too long or you risk shattering and loss. Harvest in the coolest part of the day to reduce seed damage, and adjust your combine settings to minimize cracking. Keep an eye on moisture levels—ideally around 13%—for optimal storage and quality.
